MPOC solutions enable improved overall performance of the hospital while enhancing the patient experience by keeping them more informed and reducing average length of stay

Wishing to drive innovation for the healthcare industry and set new standards for clinical success, Asklepios designed and built its first Reference Centre of the Asklepios Future Hospital Programme in Barmbek, Germany. It worked with many technology and service providers, including Intel® Solution Services, to introduce new technologies such as mobile point of care solutions into many areas of the hospital, transforming it into a Predictive Enterprise. Increased mobility and access to all critical information has had a positive impact on both operational and clinical efficiency. Medical staff can act quickly, making more timely and informed decisions with regard to diagnoses and treatment and administration has been streamlined. Having demonstrated the effectiveness of this project, Asklepios intends to continue to roll out similar innovative solutions to other hospitals in its network.
